If the duct system will not pass the test we can pump fog into a sealed duct system for a visual inspection and location of any leaky fittings in need of repair.This is not included with a Duct Blast Testing and there will be additional charges. Please have a service tech on job when we are testing so they can make any repairs needed. Efficient Energy Services makes every reasonable effort to work with the HVAC contractor to obtain passing results. However, re-testing, waiting time and time spent assisting the contractor to identify leak locations are subject to additional charges payable at the rate of $80.00 per hour. A/C Contractors do you have a new duct install, let us smoke test it before they hang drywall you can visually inspect your installed system find those leaks, That will cause you problems later.  |
